twists involving the setting? like, reminders that they're in a spaceship, aka a big complex totally fallible machine out in space...strange gravity, hydroponic food supplies shenanigans, maybe places that look normal or planet-y but are still actually a spacecraft (ie: in the doctor falls of dw, there's a plot point around where they SEEM to be on a sunlit farm, but of course are actually on a spacecraft, and so are able to blow up certain fuses etc and disrupt the mirage)
